Osteopathy

Osteopathy is effective in treating a host of work and stress related conditions including:

  • RSI (repetitive strain injury)
  • Shoulder, neck and back problems
  • Joint, muscle and tendon problems
  • Digestive disorders
  • Headaches
  • Breathing difficulties

Osteopathic treatment is purely and solely based on gentle manual techniques. The osteopath does not prescribe any medicines nor does he use any invasive techniques such as injections or surgery. It is often said that the osteopath does not treat the illness itself but stimulates the patient's natural healing processes

Sessions usually last 30 minutes, however, the first session requires 45-60 minutes in order to take a full medical history. Most conditions respond best to a course of 4-6 sessions on a weekly or fortnightly basis

Please note that this service requires a dedicated room where the practitioner can set up a full-length treatment table.
